Marginal Periphery -

I've always been fascinated with tiny bits of flotsam and jetsam. I see them with a special eye that takes in their inherent qualities and imbues them with a host of intrinsic associations and attributes.

In this case, "Marginal Periphery" is comprised of discarded fragments of a replaced roof. They lay on the path, overlooked by the cleanup crew. Clearly they were meant for me to find and enjoy.

To that end, I've mounted them on a complementary backing meant to bring their subtleties to the fore.
