| The moon at night can seem like a musical etude, soaring and dipping in a grand arc across the sky. The experience transcends nearly everything I experience - and it's very personal. I like to think of it as the moon serenading me with it's isolated beauty. Painting these etudes brings me echoes of the same feelings I've experienced and great joy in the process. |

| This acrylic painting was executed on a gallery-wrapped, 100% cotton canvas with painted sides that made framing unnecessary. It's been varnished with a semi-gloss coating for protection which also shields the colors from UV light. |
