"Gossypium" is the scientific name for cotton - the focal substance of this assemblage/collage. I'm exploring the intricacies of the small patch of woven fabric, in particular the idea that the threads continue onward indefinitely from a finite point.

This acrylic painting is executed in a hand-crafted box backing a commercial frame.
external dimensions are 11-3/4" x 9-3/4" x 1" thick.
internal dimensions are 9-5/8" x 7-5/8".

It is ready-to-hang in a wooden frame with glass..
The painted portions have been varnished with a coating for protection which also shields the colors from UV light.
Signed and dated on the back as well as the front, I will provide upon request, a letter of certification for gallery asking price.
