This eight-panel, four-foot-tall folding screen was installed in the living room of a Cathedral Heights, luxury apartment in Washington, DC to cover the opening between living area and kitchen. The screen folded into the center leaving a large window on either side offering air and light to the otherwise fully enclosed kitchen. Folding the panels caused surfaces of the screen not visible in this picture to form a new two-fold screen, so there was additional painting on the rear sides.
